Zach Remillard Hitting Leadoff Against Angels
Chicago White Sox rookie infielder Zach Remillard is starting at second base and is hitting in the leadoff spot for Thursday's tilt against the Los Angeles Angels and left-hander Patrick Sandoval. Remillard will get another start at second base and will hit in the top spot in the order for the first time in his big-league career. The 29-year-old has only played in 10 games in the majors but has held his own so far with 10 hits in 26 at-bats (.385) with a double, four RBI, two stolen bases and three runs scored in 28 plate appearances. Remillard could continue to see playing time over veteran Elvis Andrus, but there's nothing in his minor-league numbers to suggest that he'll be worth a pickup in shallow mixed leagues anytime soon.
