Alondes Williams Fantasy Stats

The Washington Wizards officially signed guard/forward Alondes Williams to an Exhibit 10 contract after Chris Haynes first reported the agreement in August. The 27-year-old was left off Washington's initial training camp roster but is now back with the organization after averaging 22.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.6 assists while shooting 42.4% from three for the Capital City Go-Go last season. Williams has used up his two-way eligibility, so a return to the Go-Go remains the likely outcome. His NBA fantasy appeal is limited unless injuries open a spot in Washington's backcourt.

According to Shams Charania of ESPN, the Washington Wizards are signing guard Alondes Williams to a 10-day contract from their Capital City G-League affiliate. The 26-year-old earns a call-up from Capital City after averaging 20.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in the G League, highlighted by four 30-point efforts. With Trae Young (knee) sidelined and the Wizards leaning into youth, Williams will compete with Bub Carrington, Tre Johnson, and Will Riley for backcourt minutes. He is a watchlist name in deeper formats, but immediate standard-league value is unlikely without a clear rotation role.

Guard Alondes Williams has signed a training camp deal with the Washington Wizards. The Milwaukee native will battle for a roster spot in the NBA after having a strong G League campaign. Williams averaged 18.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 1.5 steals in 32 regular-season appearances with the Motor City Cruise and Sioux Falls Skyforce. He has also gotten a small taste of NBA action, suiting up for nine games. Last season, Williams appeared once in the big league with the Detroit Pistons. With Jordan Poole and Marcus Smart leaving in the summer, Washington has lost depth at the guard positions, which could give Williams an opportunity to make the team.
