Darren Collison Scores 19 While Pacers Shoot Roof off Talking Stick
Indiana Pacers point guard Darren Collison was part of an extremely efficient effort put on in Phoenix, but not by Phoenix. The Pacers shot over 50 percent from the field and 47 percent from behind the arc, which Collison was 20 percent responsible for. Collison continues to serve as an excellent relief valve for guard Victor Oladipo on the offense, especially while center Myles Turner recovers from lingering injuries. Collison's value has plateaued a bit, but that doesn't mean he is going to eventually see a decrease in production. His usage for this team is deservingly high, but the rest of the Pacers have increased their roles as the season has progressed, and much like Oladipo, the top scoring options are seeing statistical decreases, especially during one of the more dense months of the season. Collison is still the starter, but do not be surprised when his game logs start to look funkier and funkier as the Pacers win and win.
