Spurs
The San Antonio Spurs have signed guard David Duke Jr. to a two-way contract. The young guard signed a two-way deal with the organization last December. However, Duke only ended up playing in four games with the Spurs. Before that, Duke spent two seasons with the Brooklyn Nets. This is looking more like a depth move than anything else. The assumption is that Duke will spend a majority of his time in the G-League.

David Duke Jr. Staying With The Nets On Two-Way Deal
Forward David Duke Jr. is staying in Brooklyn on a two-way deal. The 22-year-old appeared in 22 games with the Nets last season. He also made seven starts, averaging a respectable 7.7, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in those games. Duke will probably make more appearances for the big club this season. While that won't make Duke a day-to-day fantasy producer, his services may sometimes come in handy in 2022-23. Of course, dynasty managers should consider keeping him around, especially since he could be a year or two away from becoming a regular at the NBA level.

David Duke Jr. Stays Hot With 24 Points On Saturday
Brooklyn Nets guard David Duke Jr. closed out a productive Summer League by scoring 24 points in Saturday's contest against the Boston Celtics. He shot 9-for-16 from the field in the game and also added five rebounds, five assists, one three-pointer, one steal and one block. Duke started each of the team's five Summer League games and averaged 19 points per game across the tournament. The 22-year-old out of Providence made his NBA debut with the Nets last year while the team was hampered by injuries and a certain guard's home court ineligibility. He appeared in 22 games last year and averaged 4.7 points and 3.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 36.1% from the field.

David Duke Jr. Plays Well In Summer League Win
Brooklyn Nets forward David Duke Jr. had 21 points in the win over Philadelphia during Summer League play on Sunday. He shot a decent 6-for-11 from the field, although he couldn't sink either of his two attempts from downtown. Yet, Duke made up for it by going 9-for-10 from the charity stripe while adding five rebounds, two assists, and two steals. At some point throughout his career, the 22-year-old may crack a consistent spot in the rotation. Until then, he doesn't have fantasy value in anything outside of dynasty formats, and even that is being generous.

David Duke Jr. Stays Busy In Saturday's Loss
Brooklyn Nets shooting guard David Duke Jr. bagged his second double-double in three games on Saturday, finishing a 100-93 loss to the Magic with 18 points and a game-high 14 rebounds. He shot 7-for-15 from the field with a 1-for-4 effort from deep and completed his line with one assist, two steals and one block. The 22-year-old has grabbed an opportunity to log extra minutes with both hands and is giving fantasy managers something in every category. The COVID-19 situation at Brooklyn is very bad and Duke Jr. should continue to play an active role for the team for the time being.
