Shooting guard Dwyane Wade has officially agreed to terms with Cleveland. Wade, who was bought out by the Chicago Bulls on Monday, cleared waivers and officially signed with the Cavs as of 5 P.M. Eastern time Wednesday . Though the Cavs are currently strapped for cash with one of the league's highest payrolls, they were able to aquire Wade and sign him for a veteran's minimum, one-year, $2.3 million dollar deal. Though he is at the advanced NBA age of 35, Wade still has plenty to offer a franchise, especially one that is possibly looking at it's last chance at a title with small forward LeBron James. If he can stay healthy, Wade and his career 23 points, five assists per game still has plenty to offer from a fantasy perspective as well.

Dwyane Wade Is Bought Out By Bulls, Cavs Are Favorites To Land Him
Chicago Bulls shooting guard Dwyane Wade had his contract bought out by the Bulls. He will now be free to sign with other teams. He clashed often with his younger teammates, culminating in the infamous series of events at the end of January. He claims his main focus was on helping Jimmy Butler progress as a player, so the trading away of Butler made the split fairly inevitable. Wade is not the same player he used to be but he will still draw strong interest from contenders. The favorites to land him are the Cleveland Cavaliers who present dual opportunities of a title and a renewal of a team-up with Lebron James.
Chicago Bulls shooting guard Dwyane Wade may soon be free to pursue other NBA ventures. According to John Paxson, the team's Vice President of Basketball Operations, the team is open to buying out the contract of the future hall of famer. While the buyout talks have been in the news over the past few months, it appears that things are beginning to heat up as the team heads into training camp. With the news of today, it would not be out of the question to see Wade no longer a member of the Chicago Bulls in the very near future. Fantasy owners will want to keep this situation on their radar as Wade's potential departure will open the door for expanded roles for shooting guards Justin Holiday and Denzel Valentine.
