Shooting guard Dwyane Wade has officially agreed to terms with Cleveland. Wade, who was bought out by the Chicago Bulls on Monday, cleared waivers and officially signed with the Cavs as of 5 P.M. Eastern time Wednesday . Though the Cavs are currently strapped for cash with one of the league's highest payrolls, they were able to aquire Wade and sign him for a veteran's minimum, one-year, $2.3 million dollar deal. Though he is at the advanced NBA age of 35, Wade still has plenty to offer a franchise, especially one that is possibly looking at it's last chance at a title with small forward LeBron James. If he can stay healthy, Wade and his career 23 points, five assists per game still has plenty to offer from a fantasy perspective as well.

He claims his main focus was on helping Jimmy Butler progress as a player, so the trading away of Butler made the split fairly inevitable. Wade is not the same player he used to be but he will still draw strong interest from contenders.
