Gary Clark Plays 26 Minutes, Nene And Marquise Chriss Also Help
Houston Rockets power forward Gary Clark scored eight points with three rebounds, a steal and a blocked shot across 26 minutes in Monday's 112-94 victory against the Memphis Grizzlies. Clark was seeing a huge bump in playing time with Clint Capela (thumb) sidelined. The North Carolinian hit 3-for-4 from the field, including 2-for-3 from behind the three-point line. He could be a sneaky short-term fantasy play in deeper leagues. Nene Hilario started, but managed just two points over 14 minutes, while Marquise Chriss played seven uneventful minutes while going scoreless. Clark is owned in less than five percent of all fantasy leagues, so get in on the ground floor now.
Houston Rockets forward Gary Clark (hip) will play on Thursday against the Golden State Warriors. Clark has been adamant about his availability for tonight's contest, so this doesn't come as surprising news. With Carmelo Anthony no longer active for the Houston Rockets, Clark will see an increased role, but he still isn't worth owning in any fantasy league quite yet.
Houston Rockets forward Gary Clark (hip) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Golden State Warriors. However, Clark said he intend to play through the issue and said directly that he is playing on Thursday. Clark has seen an increase in minutes and value since Carmelo Anthony has been benched. Although, it's not enough playing time worth rostering Clark in most formats.
