Brooklyn Nets small forward Iman Shumpert has been given the green light to take the floor for the first time this year after having resigned with the organization in January. The timing of his potential debut is fortuitous as Brooklyn is down bench ace Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (hip) for the first time all season Tuesday, which could pave the way for Shumpert to see a handful of minutes with the second unit. Known primarily for his defensive acumen, Shumpert may have name value, but he's not likely a season-long fantasy asset at this stage in any-sized league.
Iman Shumpert Is A Sneaky Good Addition For Wednesday
Cleveland Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert isn't going to score a ton of points, but what he will get you is rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. The Cavs' shooting guard is just a ball of energy, and he does a fantastic job putting that energy to use nightly. Last outing, he was able to corral four rebounds, three steals and six points in 22 minutes of action. But with him getting more playing time next game, 10 points, six rebounds, two assists and three steals isn't out of the realm of possibility for him.
