Isaac McKneely Fantasy Stats

The Atlanta Hawks have signed guard Isaac McKneely to a training camp contract, according to Paul Garcia of The Spot Up Shot. The 22-year-old went undrafted in June after four college seasons split between Virginia and Louisville, making 329 three-pointers at a 41.4 percent clip across 133 games. McKneely averaged 10.9 points while shooting 39.5 percent from deep for Louisville last season before posting 6.7 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 18.9 minutes across seven Summer League appearances with Atlanta. His shooting gives Atlanta a skill to evaluate in camp, though a stint with the College Park Skyhawks still looks like the more likely next step.

Atlanta Hawks guard Isaac McKneely (shoulder) was forced to make an early exit during Thursday's Summer League contest against the Memphis Grizzlies. McKneely only played nine minutes before suffering a right shoulder injury that would knock him out for the rest of the night. The Hawks are going to play it extremely safe, given it's the Summer League right now. It doesn't sound like anything too serious, so he should be considered day-to-day. The Hawks brought in McKneely as an undrafted free agent out of Louisville. He was viewed as an elite three-point specialist in college, so we'll see if that translates to the professional level.
