Washington Wizards guard Jerome Robinson has made the most of his opportunity in Orlando. Despite averaging just 4.6 points on the season, he has emerged as one of the team's primary scoring options, at least in the short term. Against the Thunder on Sunday, Robinson dropped 19 points in 29 minutes off the pine. He connected on seven of his 15 field-goal attempts, and with four treys the 23-year-old was lethal from distance. Robinson also was solid from a playmaking aspect in this one, as he dropped six dimes. Things are not going to get any easier for him on Tuesday, though, because the Wizards are taking on the Bucks, who own the league's best defensive rating.
Jerome Robinson Pours In 19 Points Off Bench In Loss
Washington Wizards shooting guard/small forward Jerome Robinson continued to lead the teams second unit against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday, dropping 19 points on 5-for-11 shooting. Since entering the bubble, Robinson has been the Wizard who arguably has benefited most from the absence of Bradley Beal and Davis Bertans, staples of the teams offense at the time of the shutdown. Having appeared sparingly as a reserve for the Clippers earlier in the year, Robinson now represents a multi-category contributor, having added three rebounds, three assists, and two steals in his 29 minutes. His DFS price tag should remain reasonable heading into Fridays matchup with the ultra-paced Pelicans.
Washington Wizards shooting guard Jerome Robinson led the team in shot attempts and scored 17 points in Monday's loss to Indiana. The former Clipper was very trigger-happy in the contest, firing off a third of the team's 30 three-point attempts and shooting 7-for-18 overall from the field. He also tallied three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 29 minutes of action. With all of Washington's top dogs missing the action in Orlando, there's a lot of shots and scoring to go around in the team, and Robinson has been one of the main beneficiaries of it. He's averaging 16.3 points in three Bubble games so far and should be on your DFS radar.
Washington Wizards guard Jerome Robinson (Achilles) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the New York Knicks. He was unable to play in Sunday's game due to left Achilles soreness. Isaac Bonga would be in line for another start if Robinson is unable to play. Robinson is worth grabbing in deeper formats if he's able to get healthy and get on the court soon.
