Suns Waive Josh Gray and Sign Shaq Harrison
Phoenix Suns point guard Josh Gray has been waived on Tuesday. The Suns are waiving him in order to make room for Shaq Harrison. He will sign a 10-day contract with the Suns, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. Gray averaged 6.4 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists over his five appearances with Phoenix this season. Elfrid Payton has taken over as the starting point guard in Phoenix. Tyler Ulis should see minutes as the backup guard when healthy. It's unlikely Harrison has much more success than Gray did in Phoenix, but we'll wait and see.
