Justin Anderson Joins the Starting Lineup on Monday
Washington Wizards forward Justin Anderson will get a chance with the starting lineup in Monday's preseason game versus the New York Knicks. He joined the team with a non-guaranteed deal, but has a chance to make the team. C.J. Miles (foot), Troy Brown Jr. (calf) and Admiral Schofield (hamstring) are all sidelined with injuries. Anderson will jump into the starting five alongside Ish Smith, Bradley Beal, Rui Hachimura and Thomas Bryant on Monday. Anderson won't have basically any fantasy value besides possibly deep leagues, assuming he grabs a starting spot out of camp.
Philadelphia 76ers forward Justin Anderson got some burn off the bench on Saturday, scoring 12 points on 5-for-7 shooting, including two from deep in his 20 minutes of run. Anderson was fairly active in this one, as he added four rebounds, one assist and one block in the easy win over the Clippers. He is part of head coach Brett Brown's rotation, however, he just doesn't get enough run on a regular basis to put up consistent value for owners in most leagues. Leave him on the wire.
Justin Anderson Scores 10 Points with a Bit of Everything in Loss
Philadelphia 76ers forward Justin Anderson got some extra run on Monday with a number of the Sixers usual suspects riding the pine in Milwaukee. Anderson scored an effective 10 points on 4-for-7 shooting in his 24 minutes of action. He was pretty active in all aspects in this one, pitching in three rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and zero turnovers in the loss. Anderson can't really be counted on to be even mildly consistent, so we'd suggest you leave him on the waiver wire where he belongs.
Philadelphia 76ers small forward Justin Anderson is considered questionable to play against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday. The team is calling it left shin soreness, but no official word whether he'll play or not tonight. If not Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot will get more chances with the second unit on Wednesday. TLC could be a low budget option tonight in DFS if Anderson can't play. Neither player is worth owning in standard leagues as of right now.
