Minaya has been warming the bench for Portland the entire campaign and won't have a large part to play in the rotation even if he's declared healthy to play. He's logged only 7.7 minutes across 21 games in 2023-24.
Trail Blazers, Justin Minaya Agree To Two-Way Contract
Free-agent forward Justin Minaya signed a two-way deal with the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. The Providence product went undrafted in 2022 and played in the G League last season, where he averaged 12.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 2.1 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game. Since the Blazers aren't in the position to compete for a championship, they'll likely rotate a lot of players in and out of their lineup from the G League and from free agency. Minaya will get an opportunity to impress the front office and coaching staff, but he likely won't have an impact in fantasy.
