According to Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast, Atlanta Hawks guard Keaton Wallace (shoulder) is unavailable for Wednesday's matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The 26-year-old will miss his 11th consecutive contest due to a strained left shoulder. Wallace has averaged 5.4 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 16.2 minutes per contest in 28 games. A timetable hasn't been set for when we return to the floor. His next chance to play is Saturday versus the Knicks.
Keaton Wallace Recalled From G League For Matchup Against Minnesota On Monday
Atlanta Hawks guard Keaton Wallace has been recalled from the College Park Skyhawks, Atlanta's G League affiliate, for Monday night's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves and will be active. Atlanta is dealing with a litany of injuries and needs additional depth at guard. The 25-year-old has played in just one NBA game in January, though it was a start against the Chicago Bulls where he put up 27 points and six assists. With Bogdan Bogdanovic active it's unlikely Wallace will get the start. Minnesota's defense is one of the NBA's best as well, making Wallace a risky start in all fantasy formats. Only DFS managers should consider adding him in their lineups as a deep flier, though the risk will be high.
