Brooklyn Nets forward Lance Thomas will jump into the starting five for Monday's game against the Washington Wizards. He replaced Timothe Luwawu in the starting lineup for Friday's game. Thomas finished with six points, two rebounds, and one assist in 18 minutes. Luwawu dropped a team-high 24 points with four rebounds in 22 minutes on the court. Thomas can likely be ignored in all fantasy formats, but Luwawu could have some sneaky value if he puts up solid numbers again.
New York Knicks forward Lance Thomas (knee) underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee and will be re-evaluated in four weeks. Thomas started the first five games for the Knicks. He averaged just 4.4 points and 1.4 rebounds in 11.1 minutes over his last 11 games. The Knicks appear committed to the rebuild, so Thomas won't have much fantasy value even when healthy. Kevin Knox (ankle) is getting healthy and is expected to take over the minutes that Thomas left behind.
New York Knicks power forward Lance Thomas (knee) did not participate in practice on Sunday. Kristaps Porzingis (knee) is sidelined for the foreseeable future, which means Thomas will begin the season as the starting power forward. Thomas sitting out on Sunday was likely just the Knicks being cautious. He's not the best target for fantasy leagues, but he's expected to begin the regular season in the starting five.
New York Knicks guard/forward Lance Thomas (illness) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Thomas sat out of Friday's contest due to illness. The Knicks could be shorthanded with Tim Hardaway Jr. (sprained left ankle) listed as doubtful and Michael Beasley (left knee contusion) questionable on Saturday. Courtney Lee and Damyean Dotson would see all the minutes they could handle if all of the above get ruled out. Dotson has more upside in fantasy formats right now.
New York Knicks guard/forward Lance Thomas (personal) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Washington Wizards. This will be his fourth straight game sidelined due to a family matter. Thomas was only worth owning in deeper leagues anyway, so this is not a big problem for fantasy owners. Michael Beasley has been fantastic lately and will see increased playing time and usage with Thomas inactive. Beasley is a must-own player in fantasy leagues right now.
New York Knicks forward Lance Thomas had a decent showing on Tuesday as the Knicks hosted the Spurs at Madison Square Garden, scoring 13 points on 5-for-7 shooting, including three makes from deep. Thomas didn't do a whole lot else in this one (two points and two rebounds), so there's no reason to get excited. He is bound to have the odd solid performance here and there, but the veteran is a non-factor in fantasy despite his starting role for the Knicks.
