Orlando Magic forward Mychal Mulder will move into the starting five for Saturday's game against the Brooklyn Nets. Starting center Wendell Carter Jr. (leg) won't be available after suffering an injury during their last contest. The good news is, Carter is day-to-day, so hopefully he won't miss too much time. In the meantime, Mulder will take his spot in the starting five. However, Chuma Okeke and Robin Lopez figure to play a majority of the minutes at center. Okeke is looking like a sneaky option for Saturday's DFS slate.
Mychal Mulder Nails Seven Treys During 25-Point Night
Golden State Warriors guard Mychal Mulder made his best Stephen Curry impression in Thursday's win over the Thunder, shooting 7-for-13 from downtown to finish with 25 points in just 20 minutes off the bench. He was 9-for-15 overall from the field with a lone assist the only other thing on his stat line for the evening. Mulder has been getting steady minutes lately, which has helped him to produce a few pretty productive offensive outings. He's made good use of garbage time in blowout wins, and another convincing victory seems to be on the horizon for Golden State on Saturday when they have a rematch with OKC.
Golden State Warriors guard Mychal Mulder went off for a career-high 26 points in Tuesday's loss to Dallas, shooting 10-for-16 from the field and 6-for-11 from downtown with five rebounds, while logging a season-high 31 minutes. The 26-year-old has been rolling with the starters lately but hasn't had much success, producing only 25 total points in two games prior to Tuesday's outburst. It was a big blowout as well, so Mulder might fall back into obscurity right away, but he does face two of the worst teams in the league to close out the week and could be a factor against Minnesota and Houston.
Golden State Warriors guard Mychal Mulder will draw the start in Friday's game against the Denver Nuggets. He'll move into the starting five in place of veteran Kent Bazemore who is out due to the league's health and safety protocols. Kelly Oubre Jr. will continue coming off the bench in this one. Mulder could hit some threes, but Oubre is a much better fantasy option for Friday's slate.
Mychal Mulder Continues Fantastic NBA Start With 18 Points
Golden State Warriors guard Mychal Mulder finished with 18 points, one rebound, and three assists in 32 minutes during the 118-114 win over the 76ers on Saturday. The rookie has been playing a lot more lately due to the bevy of injuries swamping the team. In fact, he just played his first game on Feb. 27 but has logged at least 31 minutes in four of the past five games. Fortunately, that has translated into double-digit points in four of those five contests as well. The 25-year-old has shown stability and consistency in his scoring along with his three-point shooting as he has drilled 24 treys in the past five games. Mulder is a hidden fantasy gem right now though his next chance to shine comes against a sturdy Clippers defense.
