Paul Watson Jr. Logs Second Straight Starting Assignment
Oklahoma City Thunder small forward Paul Watson Jr. is back in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against Phoenix, marking his second consecutive start. Widespread injuries and issues with the league's health and safety protocols have paved the way for assistant coach Mike Wilks to get creative with his rotations, with Watson the latest example. The 26-year-old played 22 minutes Tuesday, but took just five shots and finished with five points and four rebounds. OKC's rotations can be difficult to peg on a nightly basis, but Watson has some DFS punt play appeal as the team gets an extended look at the defensive-minded wing.
Toronto Lists Paul Watson As Questionable For Tuesday
Toronto Raptors shooting guard/small forward Paul Watson has been tagged as questionable to play Tuesday against Atlanta due to the league's health and safety protocols. Watson has not seen game action since March 24, but he had been carving out a solid bench role prior to his absence. With Fred VanVleet (hip) already ruled out, Watson could get a handful of minutes kicked his way if he's ultimately cleared, although how up to speed he'll be is largely unknown. For now, Watson can still remain on the waiver wire in all season-long formats.
