Guard Reggie Jackson will remain with the Clippers after agreeing to a two-year, $22 million contract. The 31-year-old was a big part in helping L.A. navigate its way through the postseason after Kawhi Leonard (knee) tore his ACL, averaging 17.8 points while shooting nearly 41 percent from deep throughout the playoffs. With Leonard potentially missing the entire 2021-22 campaign, Jackson is now the unofficial No. 2 option on the offensive end for Los Angeles, so managers should view him as an everyday fantasy option during the year.
Los Angeles Clippers guard Reggie Jackson will draw plenty of interest after he hits free agency during the offseason. The 31-year-old veteran was a critical component for L.A. during the postseason by helping fill the void caused by Kawhi Leonard's (knee) absence, averaging 20.3 points during the Western Conference Finals against Phoenix. The Clippers could offer him around $10 million annually. However, other teams, such as the Raptors and Mavericks, could offer him more. Regardless, he may have a more consistent role during the 2021-22 campaign, depending on where he lands, and he should remain on the radar for managers toward the mid-rounds of upcoming fantasy drafts.
Los Angeles Clippers guard Reggie Jackson (Achilles) is listed as doubtful for Friday's game against the Houston Rockets. He has been playing well heading into the postseason, so the Clippers will give him the night off here. The Clippers will rest a handful of their players here against the tanking Rockets. Luke Kennard, Rajon Rondo, and possibly Yogi Ferrell will benefit in the absence of Jackson. Rondo could be a sneaky DFS option with extended minutes on Friday.
Los Angeles Clippers guard Reggie Jackson (rest) and forward Paul George (rest) have been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. It appears the Clippers are going to give most of their starters the night off in the second game of the back-to-back set. Luke Kennard, Marcus Morris, and Terance Mann should all see plenty of playing time and be interesting streaming options. Kennard has the most upside out of the trio. Nicolas Batum could have some sneaky value as well without George in the rotation.
