Power forwards/centers P.J. Tucker and Rodions Kurucs have been dealt to the Milwaukee Bucks, alongside the team's 2022 first-round Draft pick, which was returned in a deal with the Houston Rockets. Tucker has sat out the past four games in hopes of having his trade request filled, as he's now expected to play the role of tough-nosed defender with the Bucks. Averaging 4.4 points and 4.6 boards in his 32 games (all starts) this year, Tucker holds little fantasy intrigue in wake of the deal as he should see a decreased role within a loaded Bucks roster. Kurucs is similarly on the outside looking in of the mix for Milwaukee, having played more than 10 minutes in just one contest this season.
Brooklyn Nets forward Rodions Kurucs and Cleveland Cavaliers guard Dante Exum (calf) have been traded to the Houston Rockets in a massive blockbuster deal. Most importantly, the Rockets received Victor Oladipo and seven first-round picks in exchange for James Harden. They also snag two depth players in Kurucs and Exum. The Rockets have plenty of forwards already and Exum doesn't stay on the court long enough to be relevant in fantasy leagues. Both players can remain on the waiver wire.
Brooklyn Nets power forward/center Rodions Kurucs (ankle) will be unavailable for Tuesday's contest against the Jazz due to an ankle ailment. Kurucs has appeared in just three games this season, having scored a combined three points. Despite having started 46 contests for the team just two years ago, the 22-year-old from Latvia has seen his role decrease expeditiously amid Brooklyn's new-look roster. Even with Kevin Durant (COVID-19 protocols) expected to miss the next four games, Kurucs figured to have little fantasy intrigue, which will allow fantasy managers to keep him on the wire moving forward.
Brooklyn Nets forward Rodions Kurucs was reportedly starting at power forward during practice on Friday. The team is already down seven players for the upcoming NBA restart. Taurean Prince recently opted out which opened up more playing time for Kurucs going forward. The organization went through it's first 5-on-5 practice on Friday with Kurucs starting. It's unclear who else the team plans to bring in, but Kurucs is expected to have a significant role. He could have sneaky DFS value because of how much playing time he'll receive with the Nets shorthanded.
Brooklyn Nets forward Rodions Kurucs (knee) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks. He was listed as doubtful earlier, so the questionable tag is actually an upgrade. Treveon Graham, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, and DeMarre Carroll would split up the extra minutes if Kurucs is unable to play.
Brooklyn Nets small/power forward Rodions Kurucs is unlikely to play in Mondays contest against the Milwaukee Bucks due to a right knee contusion. Kurucs has started the previous 12 games for Brooklyn, with DeMarre Carroll and the Nets other collaboration of wings likely to see an increased role should Kurucs be unable to suit up. Despite his starting spot, Kurucs has failed to reach double figures in scoring in each of his last eight outings, giving him limited fantasy value.
Brooklyn Nets forward Rodions Kurucs (elbow) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Kurucs is dealing with a left elbow sprain, but will get a full week off with the All-Star break approaching. Shabazz Napier or Allen Crabbe will likely be asked to jump into the starting five. Fantasy owners should check back closer to game time to see which players gets boosted into the starting lineup.
Brooklyn Nets forward Rodions Kurucs scored a career-high 24 point on 6-for-11 shooting in Friday's loss to the Indiana Pacers. He also added three rebounds, a steal, and a block. Since entering the starting lineup in place of the injured Allen Crabbe, Kurucs has scored in double figures in three of Brooklyn's five games, and after Friday's performance he may have solidified a spot in the team's starting lineup. Kurucs should be added in 14-team leagues at this point and should be on your watch list in shallower formats.
Brooklyn Nets forward Rodions Kurucs will draw another start for Allen Crabbe (knee) on Friday versus the Indiana Pacers. Crabbe will miss his fifth straight game, but head coach Kenny Atkinson made it sound like it's not a long-term problem. Kurucs continues to start, so he could be someone worth watching in deep leagues.
Brooklyn Nets forward Rodions Kurucs will remain in the rotation when Allen Crabbe (knee) returns, according to head coach Kenny Atkinson. Kurucs has averaged 13.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.0 threes over the last two games. Kurucs has seen an increase in playing time with Crabbe sidelined over the last few games. He's someone worth looking at in deeper leagues, but who knows how long this type of play will last.
