Royce O'Neale News
Utah Jazz forward Royce O'Neale (wrist) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Phoenix Suns. It's the front end of a back-to-back set, so it wouldn't be shocking to see the Jazz play it safe here. His absence could mean Ersan Ilyasova moves into the starting five, while Jordan Clarkson gets minutes in the 30-range. Both players could be interesting streaming choices without O'Neale available.
Utah Jazz forwards Joe Ingles (knee) and Royce O'Neale (rest) have been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. They've decided to take the cautious approach with some players due to the fact OKC is tanking. Ingles is battling a knee issue, but this is more of a rest outing than anything else. Georges Niang should benefit the most and could have some low-end streaming appeal on Tuesday.
Utah Jazz forward Royce O'Neale put together a juicy line in Saturday's win over Miami. O'Neal scored only eight points but compiled seven rebounds, four assists, three blocks, and three steals in 32 minutes. The 27-year-old has been a Swiss-army knife for the 22-5 Jazz, as he's averaging 7.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.3 triples, 1.0 blocks, and 1.0 steals per game this month while playing 30 minutes in every contest but one. O'Neale won't do much for you in the scoring column- he's been in double-figures just six times- but his ability to rack up defensive stats and hit threes shouldn't go unnoticed, particularly in DFS formats.
Utah Jazz forward Royce O'Neale had a career night on Tuesday, leading the team with 20 points in a 108-94 win over the Knicks. The Jazz had a bunch of people struggling, including Donovan Mitchell who went 3-for-15 from the floor, so they needed somebody to step up and O'Neale answered the call. He shot 7-for-12 from the field and 2-for-5 from downtown with a 4-for-5 success at the line, adding six rebounds, two assists, and one block. This was only the fourth time this season that O'Neale has managed to drop 10-plus points, so don't expect him to repeat the performance anytime soon.
