Wizards Sign Skal Labissiere to Exhibit 10 Deal

The Washington Wizards are signing forward/center Skal Labissiere to an Exhibit 10 contract on Monday. The 29-year-old big man last played for the Sacramento Kings in the 2024-25 season, where he appeared in four games and only averaged three minutes per contest. Before that, his last season in the NBA was 2019-20 with the Portland Trail Blazers. Despite being drafted in the first round back in 2016, Labissiere has only played in five seasons and has averaged 7.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.0 assists across 17.2 minutes per game.

Wizards Add Skal Labissiere for Training Camp

Forward/center Skal Labissiere has agreed to a deal with the Washington Wizards to join the team for training camp. The 29-year-old is attempting to stick in the NBA after making a comeback in the league during the 2024-25 season. Labissiere made four appearances with the Sacramento Kings last term, his first NBA contests in five years. Overall, Labissiere has 152 games under his belt in the Association. He has averaged 7.1 points and 4.4 rebounds in 17.2 minutes. These are solid numbers for a backup, and Labissiere could add more frontcourt depth for the Wizards if he secures a contract for the upcoming season.

Skal Labissiere Goes to Atlanta

Portland Trail Blazers forward Skal Labissiere (knee) has been traded to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for cash. Labissiere is sidelined due to a left knee issue right now, but this isn't an ideal landing spot for him. The Hawks have Clint Capela, John Collins, Dewayne Dedmon, Bruno Fernando, and Damian Jones at the power forward and center position. It's unlikely that Labissiere is able to carve out a reliable role on this team, so fantasy owners can leave him on the waiver wire.

Skal Labissiere Records Double-Double In Only Start Of Year

Portland Trail Blazers power forward/center Skal Labissiere put forth a gaudy stat line of 29 points and 15 rebounds across his 41 minutes during Wednesdays victory over the Sacramento Kings, his first and only start of the 2018-19 campaign. Playing against the organization that he began the season with, Labissiere closed it out on the opposite end of the floor, having received nearly as few minutes with Portland as he did with Sacramento. He doesnt appear likely to receive any significant run come Sunday when the Blazers open their postseason schedule against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Skal Labissiere Traded To The Trail Blazers At Deadline

The Sacramento Kings traded forward Skal Labissiere to the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday in exchange for forward Caleb Swanigan. Labissiere entered the NBA with so much promise, and he averaging 8.7 points and 4.8 rebounds per game across his first 93 games over two NBA seasons. However, he fell out of favor this season in Sacto, registering just 2.8 points and 0.3 rebounds in 13 minutes, barely playing. He'll get a chance to turn over a new leaf and get a fresh start in the Rose City, so perhaps it's not too late for him to bloom as a third-year sensation. Labissiere certainly has the length and scoring ability, and he could block some shots, too.

Skal Labissiere Has Productive Night Against Dallas

Sacramento Kings power forward Skal Labissiere put up 19 points on 8-for-15 shooting in Tuesday's loss to the Dallas Mavericks. He also grabbed eight rebounds, had three assists and blocked a shot. There's been a spike in Labissiere's play lately, as he's had at least one block in four straight games and has scored in double figures in four of his last six games. The Kings play the Pacers on Thursday, a team that allows the seventh most blocks per game in the NBA . Indiana has a top-10 scoring defense, though, so the Kings don't have a very high ceiling in this one. Labissiere could be useful in some formats, but he's a risk in DFS.

Skal Labissiere Serviceable In Second Consecutive Start Sunday

Sacramento Kings power forward Skal Labissiere remained solid in another start Sunday against a good Boston Celtics defense. Labissiere scored 14 points on 5-for-12 shooting to go along with five rebounds, three assists and a block in 30 minutes. Labissiere has been the main beneficiary with Zach Randolph (illness) out and will be in line for increased short-term value should Randolph remain out moving forward. The Kings play again Tuesday against a beatable Dallas Mavericks defense. As of now Randolph should be considered questionable, but Labissiere would be a good streaming option should Randolph be ruled out.

Skal Labissiere is Probable Versus Warriors

Sacramento Kings forward/center Skal Labissiere (hip) is listed as probable for Friday's game against the Golden State Warriors. He has missed three straight games but was upgraded to probable for Friday's contest. The Kings are playing for draft positioning, so they can afford to hold out Labissiere until he's 100 percent. Zach Randolph and Kosta Koufos will lose value and playing time once Labissiere returns to the court. Owners will need to check back later in the day for another update.

Skal Labissiere Won't Play Against OKC

Sacramento Kings forward/center Skal Labissiere (hip) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He will miss both games of the back-to-back set, but it is not believed to be too serious of an injury. The Kings are likely just playing it safe and being cautious with Labissiere. The Kings are tanking anyway, so they can afford to be cautious with injuries right now. Zach Randolph and Kosta Koufos are expected to benefit the most with Labissiere sidelined.

Skal Labissiere Ruled Out on Sunday

Sacramento Kings forward/center Skal Labissiere (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Denver Nuggets. Labissiere fell during Friday's contest and tried to play through it. He was unable to play through the pain and was ruled out in the second half. The tanking Kings will hold out him for this contest, but probably as a precaution. Zach Randolph should see additional minutes on the court, and the samegoes forKosta Koufos if Labissiere does not rest.
