San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker recorded 10 points on 5-for-7 shooting while dishing out nine assists in a 117-105 win over the Miami Heat. Parker was extremely efficient in the game, shooting well from the field and only recording one turnover to his nine assists in 20 minutes of action. The former All-Star will put on one of these solid nights every few games, however, he should only be owned in deep leagues due to his low upside and his tendency to rest in games.
San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker (quadriceps) has been cleared by physicians to participate in the team's upcoming training camp. Parker suffered the unfortunate injury during game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals, significantly dampening the team's playoff efficiency. With rumors of retirement swirling after he went down, Parker dismissed the idea, indicating that the thought had never crossed his mind. In any event, Parker has seen his numbers dwindle throughout the years and has been an inconsistent fantasy option as a result. It is unknown what type of role he will have upon his return but expect the recently re-signed point guard Patty Mills to benefit the most from his absence.
