Tyler Herro Making 2025 Debut on Monday

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (ankle) will play on Monday versus Dallas. The 25-year-old averaged a career-high 23.9 points last season. Unfortunately, he's been working his way back from multiple injuries. It's possible Herro has some rust to shake off in his first game in nearly eight months. However, with Norman Powell (groin) and Andrew Wiggins (hip) sidelined, Herro should automatically be plugged into all fantasy lineups.

Tyler Herro Targeting Return on Monday

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (ankle) is planning to return to action on Monday against the Dallas Mavericks, Tim Reynolds of Associated Press reports. The 2025 All-Star has yet to play this season due to offseason ankle surgery. A week ago, Herro said that he would be ready to go in 1-2 weeks. With Herro on the shelf, Norman Powell has led the Heat in scoring, averaging 25.4 points per game. Meanwhile, Pelle Larsson has enjoyed a starting role and will likely be bumped to the bench when Herro returns. His presence could also impact the usage of Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Andrew Wiggins.

Tyler Herro Out for 8-12 Weeks

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (foot) underwent a foot/ankle surgery recently that addressed an impingement he first noticed in July. After treatment and injections weren't making the pain go away, surgery was deemed necessary so that he could jump and move without pain. During media day, Herro gave an update and said that he will likely miss 8-to-12 weeks, but he told head coach Erik Spoelstra that he would be back in six weeks. If he misses the maximum amount of time in that timetable, that would mean he returns around the end of December. In the meantime, the Heat will likely roll out some different lineup combinations with Norman Powell, Terry Rozier, Davion Mitchell, Jaime Jaquez Jr., and Andrew Wiggins.

Tyler Herro Undergoing Foot/Ankle Surgery

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (foot/ankle) has reportedly been dealing with a foot and ankle impingement since the middle of the summer. According to Anthony Chiang, beat reporter for the Miami Herald, Herro was trying to avoid surgery and received some platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments along with some cortisone injections. That apparently has not been helping over the recent weeks, so surgery was considered necessary to avoid issues down the road. The six-year pro is now expected to miss the beginning of the season, and it looks like he may return in late November. He was named as an All-Star for the first time last season while averaging 23.9 points, 5.5 assists, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.3 threes per game. As of right now, it looks like Davion Mitchell, Terry Rozier, and Norman Powell could all see a boost in minutes at first.

Tyler Herro Scores Game-High 33 Points In Wednesday's Loss

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro was the leading scorer in Wednesday's 121-112 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, finishing with 33 points on 14-for-24 shooting. Over 40 minutes of action, Herro notched six rebounds and five assists, going 4-for-11 from three-point range. Sitting in a 2-0 deficit in the series, the Heat are in trouble, but Herro has been on fire during the postseason. Since the start of the Play-In Tournament, he has averaged 30.5 points. With him at the top of his game, there is still hope for Miami to take the series back to Cleveland.

Tyler Herro Leads Heat Past Bulls Wednesday Night

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro was on fire in Wednesday's play-in game against the Chicago Bulls, racking up a game-high 38 points in a 109-90 road win. He was unconscious in the first half, sinking all eight shots for 23 points to help Miami grab a 71-47 lead. The Bulls did a much better job defensively in the second half, but still had no answers for Herro, who finished 13-for-19 from the field with a 3-for-7 record from downtown. The first-year All-Star rounded out his line with five rebounds, four assists, and one steal. Herro's play was on another level compared to others, but he also has room for improvement for Friday's showdown against the Atlanta Hawks, as he committed seven turnovers. In four regular-season meetings with the Hawks, Herro averaged 24.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 1.5 steals, shooting 40 percent from three-point land.

Tyler Herro Removed From Injury Report

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (rest) has been removed from the injury report and is good to go for Wednesday's contest against the Chicago Bulls in the Play-In Tournament. Miami rested Herro on Sunday as the team wrapped up its regular season schedule with a loss to the Washington Wizards. Herro has been a headache for the Bulls all year and must deliver another big performance for the Heat to keep their playoff hopes alive. In three regular-season meetings with Chicago, Herro averaged 24.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 6.3 assists.

Tyler Herro Available Against Philadelphia

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (thigh) will return to action on Monday against the Philadelphia 76ers. Herro's status has been upgraded from questionable to available. He is ready to rejoin the fun after missing Saturday's matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks due to a thigh contusion. Herro has been on fire for the past couple of weeks and figures to carry a larger offensive role in Monday's game, as Bam Adebayo (back) has been ruled out. The team also remains without Andrew Wiggins (hamstring).

Tyler Herro May Miss Monday's Game Against 76ers

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (thigh) has been listed as questionable ahead of Monday's tip-off against the Philadelphia 76ers due to a right thigh contusion. He has played some heavy minutes this season, as he averages more than 37 minutes per game so far in April, including 10 games this season with 40 or more minutes. If he's sidelined for this one, against a tanking team, Pelle Larson and Duncan Robinson should both see added minutes like they did in their overtime loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. Larson could be the sneaky DFS play, but presents a lot more risk than Robinson. In that game against the Bucks, Robinson posted 16 points, three assists, and two rebounds.

Tyler Herro Ruled Out On Saturday Night

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (thigh) won't play on Saturday versus the Bucks. Herro recently had 35 points and nine rebounds in Thursday's loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. Unfortunately, he will miss Saturday's contest because of a thigh contusion. Andrew Wiggins (hamstring) is also out, so Kel'el Ware, Bam Adebayo, Duncan Robinson, and Davion Mitchell are the favorites to lead the way offensively.
