Will Barton News
Denver Nuggets guard/forward Will Barton recorded a third straight game with 20-plus points on Monday, adding six rebounds, five assists, two blocks, and one steal in a 121-106 win over Indiana. He went a superb 5-for-7 from three-point land and finished with 6-for-16 overall shooting from the field The All-Star break clearly served its purpose for Barton, who is shooting 55.6 percent from deep and averaging 21.3 points per game since action restarted. He was getting only 11.6 points a night prior to the break. Barton will look to continue his nice scoring streak in a matchup against the Hornets, who are giving up 112.7 points per game this season, which puts them close to the league's bottom-third.
Denver Nuggets guard/forward Will Barton (personal) is available to play Friday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Barton has missed the past three games due to personal reasons and was questionable coming into this contest, but he appears on track to play. Barton could come off the bench or push Michael Porter Jr. out of the starting lineup. Barton's value is much higher when he starts, and he was putting up decent stats before being sidelined.
Denver Nuggets forward Will Barton (personal) is currently listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He has missed each of the last three games due to personal reasons, but it sounds like there's a good chance that he returns here. Facundo Campazzo, R.J. Hampton and Monte Morris would all see their roles reduced once Barton gets back in the rotation. None of them had much fantasy appeal outside of deep league anyway. It's unclear how head coach Mike Malone plans to handle this situation.
Denver Nuggets forwards Will Barton (personal) and Paul Millsap (knee) will not suit up for Wednesday's game against the Washington Wizards. Barton has missed each of the last two games due to personal reasons, so it's unclear when he'll get back on the court. Michael Porter Jr. has been the biggest winner here in terms of playing time, but has been in a slump recently. Regardless, he'll be worth looking at as a DFS option with the Nuggets shorthanded on Wednesday. JaMychal Green and Zeke Nnaji will pick up the slack without Millsap available, but neither are reliable enough to warrant adding in fantasy formats.
