Abram Smith Signs With Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings have signed free-agent running back Abram Smith to a one-year deal. The 24-year-old went undrafted out of Baylor during the 2022 draft. Afterwards, Smith signed with the New Orleans Saints, but was released a few months later. Smith most recently played in the XFL where he led the league in rushing yards last season. He rushed for 791 yards in 10 games last season in the XFL. The expectation is that he'll compete for a depth spot on the roster. The Vikings don't have great competition, so Smith might be able to earn himself a spot on the roster.
