Los Angeles Chargers running back Andre Williams (wrist) will need season-ending surgery on his wrist after he injured it on the last play of the game in Week 14 against the Redskins. Branden Oliver, who hasn't played since Oct. 29, will likely take Williams' snaps on special teams. Williams was only seeing playing time with the Chargers up big late in the game. He won't be missed by any fantasy owners, as he wasn't anywhere close to the fantasy radar. Oliver may be active on game days now, but he's still no threat to backup Austin Ekeler.
Los Angeles Chargers running back Andre Williams was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster for Week 5 against the Giants with Branden Oliver (hamstring) ruled out. Williams played in one game last year, carrying the ball 18 times for 87 yards, but he'll be third on the depth chart Sunday behind Melvin Gordon and Austin Ekeler. There's no fantasy value here.
