Austin Watkins Jr. Finds The End Zone In Preseason Action
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Austin Watkins Jr. caught seven of his 14 targets for 139 yards and a touchdown in his team's 18-18 preseason tie with the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday. Watkins scored on a 32-yard touchdown pass from Kellen Mond in the third quarter while easily leading the Browns in targets, catches, and receiving yards. The veteran has had an impressive preseason with a touchdown in the Hall of Fame game and a 71-yard effort last week against the Washington Commanders. He will get one last chance to state his case for a regular-season role in the Browns' preseason finale against the Kansas City Chiefs next week.
