Indianapolis Colts defensive end Ben Banogu (ankle) was carted off the field at practice on Monday after he rolled his ankle, according to a source. The former second-round pick last year is undergoing tests, but the early belief is it's not a long-term injury for him. Banogu was active for all 16 games in his rookie season, but he didn't see any starts and had only 11 combined tackles, three tackles for loss, five QB hits and 2.5 sacks for the Colts. There's a chance that he might not be ready for the start of the season, but the 24-year-old looks to have avoided a season-ending injury heading into his sophomore campaign.
