Ben Sauls Signs With Giants Practice Squad
Free agent kicker Ben Sauls is signing with the New York Giants' practice squad this Tuesday. The Giants have had issues at kicker with Graham Gano suffering a neck injury that kept him out of the Week 10. Gano also spent time on injured reserve with a groin injury earlier this year. Last week, Younghoe Koo made both of his field goal and extra point attempts. Sauls had a strong college career at Pitt, making 81.3% of field goal attempts (52-of-64) and 98.4% of his extra points (122-of-124). The addition of Sauls gives the Giants three kickers on their practice squad, with Sauls, Koo, and Jude McAtamney as candidates to be promoted for Sunday's game if Gano is out.
