Bronson Hill Signed Following Bishop Sankey Injury
Former Jaguars running back Bronson Hill has been signed by the Minnesota Vikings. Hill emerged from a minor workout battle among other free agents following a season-ending knee injury to Bishop Sankey. Hill saw limited opportunity last season with only a pair of rushes across three games. He is not expected to be a regular contributor, but will be an important camp (and potentially early-season) body as Latavius Murray and Jerick McKinnon recover from injuries. Dalvin Cook remains the feature back to this point.
Vikings' veteran running back Bishop Sankey has seen his season end very shortly after injuring his knee in Thursday's preseason game. Sankey was confirmed to have torn his anterior cruciate ligament following tests on Friday. It was unexpected that he would play much of a role, but he's been a valuable camp body and was likely going to begin the year with a fair opportunity for playing time. Dalvin Cook remains the feature back as of now as Latavius Murray and Jerick McKinnon recover from early injuries.
