Brodric Martin Has A Lot Of Upside

Detroit Lions rookie defensive tackle Brodric Martin, who was acquired in the third round of this year's NFL draft, has 35-inch arms and a massive 330-pound frame. He was easily the team's biggest lineman on the field during rookie minicamp over the weekend, and his upside as a space-eating nose tackle is clear as day. "There's a lot of upside with the guy," assistant general manager Ray Agnew said. "First of all, he's big, powerful and strong. He's got some technique stuff (to fix), but everything about him is fixable. I think our D-line coach will do a great job of teaching him how to play the game. There's a lot in that body, man. We're excited about him." Martin looks to be a quick study and could be contributing early on for the Lions in 2023.
