Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bruce Anderson was released from the roster during the team's final cuts on Saturday. Anderson amassed 70 yards on 20 carries and reached the end zone once against the Cowboys during the Buccaneers final preseason game. A popular late selection to emerge from Tampa Bay's crowded backfield, Anderson's value is completely gone at this point. Anyone who has Anderson on their roster should consider picking up Dare Ogunbowale instead.
Bruce Anderson Does Not Do Much With Four Touches Friday
Buccaneers rookie running back Bruce Anderson amassed three yards on three carries Friday and one catch that went for six yards. Anderson was a popular late-round dart throw in fantasy circles prior to the preseason but there has been hardly anything to work with through these first two games (one target and no other stats last week). He probably will not see an extended amount of work until week four of the preseason, and even then it's not a guarantee he makes the team. As of right now, fellow rookie Dare Ogunbowale is a safer lottery ticket.
