Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Chris Conte (knee) played through a torn PCL in his knee on Monday night, according to a source. Conte said he "gutted it out and honestly shouldn't have played." He will be out the next six weeks. Conte was embarrassed on a ferocious stiff arm from Steelers tight end Vance McDonald on a 70-yard touchdown in the loss on Monday, and this literally adds injury to insult. An already weak and ineffective Tampa defense just got worse. The Bucs defense is a good one to stream against on a weekly basis.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers placed safety Chris Conte (knee) on the Injured Reserve on Tuesday. Conte was embarrassed on Monday night when Steelers tight end Vance McDonald stiff-armed him to the ground on his way to a 70-yard touchdown scamper. Conte wasn't very good to begin with, but it's another loss to an already very thin Tampa secondary. The Bucs defense has become one to take advantage of as far as fantasy matchups in 2018.
