After missing a field goal attempt in Week 1 of the preseason (a 53-yard attempt), Dan Carpenter didn't see the field in the second preseason game. Jordan Gay handled the kicking duties, missing a field goal and an extra point. Carpenter was in this week and was sharp, hitting all three of his field goals including one from 52 yards out, and nailed his only extra point try. Carpenter is on the hot seat for the Bills this season after missing four field goals and six extra point attempts last season. If he can find his 2014 form (made 90% of his field goals), he could be a bargain in the Bills underrated offense. However, don't be afraid to cut bait if he struggles out of the gate.
