David Bell News
Cleveland Browns rookie wide receiver David Bell (toe, thumb) is listed as questionable for Week 15 against the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday. Bell didn't practice at all this week, so it would almost be a surprise if he played this weekend. The 22-year-old third-rounder has done very little for fantasy managers in his first NFL season, as he's caught 23 of his 31 targets for 196 yards and no touchdowns in 13 games (three starts). If he's out against Baltimore, it would open up more opportunities for Michael Woods and Demetric Felton behind Amari Cooper (hip) and Donovan Peoples-Jones. Peoples-Jones continues to rise in the fantasy ranks and could have another big game with Cooper battling through a hip ailment.
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) and rookie wide receiver David Bell (thumb) were both listed as limited for Wednesday's practice. Njoku missed the Week 13 win over the Houston Texans and has missed three of the last six games due to two separate knee injuries. But the 26-year-old is expected to play this Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, where he should operate as a low-end TE1 for fantasy managers. With Njoku out last Sunday, Harrison Bryant caught his only target for six yards. Bell failed to reel in his only target before getting injured in Week 13, but the 21-year-old rookie appears to be on the right track to play this weekend. Bell has just 20 catches for 169 yards and no touchdowns in his first NFL season, so he's not a realistic fantasy option if he's active.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver David Bell (hand) is questionable to return against the Houston Texans in Week 13. He exited after failing to haul in his lone target during the Browns' first offensive drive. Bell has seen more involvement as of late, catching 13 passes for 96 yards. Anthony Schwartz should operate as Cleveland's No. 3 receiver in Bell's absence.

Few wide receivers were as productive as David Bell during his three seasons at Purdue. In 29 career games with the Boilermakers, Bell averaged 101.2 yards per game and 12.5 yards per reception. He finished his career with 21 touchdown receptions while primarily operating as the team's WR1 on the outside. A poor combine performance and lack of explosive speed threatened to knock Bell out of the first three rounds of the draft, but ultimately, he was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the third...
