Tennessee Titan wide receiver Dez Fitzpatrick caught 3-of-6 targets for 35 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 22-13 loss to the Houston Texans. Titans QB Ryan Tannehill connected with Fitzpatrick for an 18-yard touchdown for the Titans' first score of the game. The 23-year-old filled in for Marcus Johnson (hamstring), who exited Sunday's game with a hamstring injury. Fitzpatrick logged 63.3% of the snaps and could see an expanded role if Johnson missed any time. The Titans rookie wide receiver is someone to monitor in deep-league formats but is not on the fantasy radar against the New England Patriots in Week 12.

Dez Fitzpatrick Not Targeted In Preseason Opener
Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Dez Fitzpatrick wasn't targeted in Friday's preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons and didn't see any early action in the game. Taken together, those two things seem to indicate that the fourth-round pick isn't going to be in the mix for early offensive snaps for the Titans, especially with Marcus Johnson and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine having strong starts to camp. Fitzpatrick still appears that he'll make the final roster, but his rookie season looks like it won't be among the best first-year campaigns in 2021. He should not be on your fantasy radar.

Titans Draft Dez Fitzpatrick
With the 109th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans have selected Louisville wide receiver Dez Fitzpatrick. At this point in the draft, players aren't usually expected to step in and play immediately, but that could change in Tennessee. Right now, the top receivers beyond A.J. Brown are Josh Reynolds and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, so Fitzpatrick could end up playing a key role on this team at some point in 2021. He had 43 catches for 833 yards and three touchdowns this season and offers a big body on the outside who can make plays on jump balls. He's an intriguing dynasty prospect.
