Detroit Lions kicker Dominik Eberle stepped up for an injured Austin Seibert (groin) and missed two extra points in the loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Eberle will likely be replaced even if Seibert misses Week 5, so any fantasy managers that pivoted to him as a last-second streamer can drop him. When Seibert returns, he's a decent streaming option as a boom-or-bust kicker in one of the league's top offenses.
The Green Bay Packers signed kicker Dominik Eberle on Tuesday. Eberle made his NFL debut with the Houston Texans last season and appeared in only one game for them, going 2-for-3 on field-goal tries and a perfect 5-for-5 on his extra points. The 25-year-old also spent time on the Carolina Panthers practice squad in 2021. Veteran Mason Crosby remains on the Packers roster, but the 37-year-old made only 73.5% of his 34 field-goal attempts in 2021 and isn't guaranteed to be back with the team in 2022. The Packers also have J.J. Molson on their roster at the position. There's a chance that Eberle is competing for the starting gig in training camp this summer.
