Gabe Davis News
Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane said that he has "a lot of confidence with Gabe Davis as our No. 2 wide receiver." Many folks were expecting a breakout season for Davis in 2022, but it just didn't come to pass. The 23-year-old did have career-highs in catches (48), targets (93) and receiving yards (836) while scoring seven times, but he fell short of expectations and was too inconsistent in one of the best offenses in football. Davis will obviously still have a role in Buffalo in 2023, but it doesn't mean the Bills won't look to upgrade at the position through free agency or the draft. Even if Davis remains the unquestioned No. 2 wideout behind Stefon Diggs, fantasy managers should expect inconsistency in 2023.
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis has been a boom-or-bust option throughout most of the season. That remained the case in the postseason as Davis delivered an excellent 113-yard outing during the Wild-Card round. Sadly, Davis wasn't able to carry over that momentum into Sunday's game versus the Cincinnati Bengals. He hauled in two of his four targets for 34 yards in the loss. It was a fairly disappointing season for Davis who was hyped heading into the year. The expectation is that the Bills will look to add another wideout this season. That being said, Davis could see his fantasy value heading in the wrong direction for 2023.
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis is coming off a strong performance during Wild-Card weekend. The 23-year-old hauled in six receptions for 113 yards and a touchdown last week. However, it was only his second 100-plus yard outing of the entire season. Fantasy managers have been fooled too many times this season to believe Davis is ready to finally turn a corner. The good news is, Davis has seen six or more targets in each of the last four games. The Bills want to get him involved in the offense, but Davis has failed to do much with the increased action. That being said, Davis will be a boom-or-bust option against the Cincinnati Bengals in the Divisional Round.
