Jets
New York Jets pass rusher Haason Reddick has officially signed his adjusted one-year contract and will make his team debut on Sunday against the New England Patriots, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Acquired from the Philadelphia Eagles last offseason, Reddick refused to play a snap for the Jets without an adjusted deal in place. While this new one-year deal is presumably less desirable than a multi-year extension, it gives Reddick an opportunity to cash in on his previous success while still having more than half a season to showcase himself before 2025 free agency. Assuming Reddick hasn't lost a step during his holdout, he should return just as dominant as ever. He registered 50.5 sacks and four forced fumbles from 2020 through 2023.

Haason Reddick To Make Jets Debut On Sunday
New York Jets defensive end Haason Reddick is set to make his New York Jets debut on Sunday against the New England Patriots according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. The 30-year-old has been sidelined all season due to a contract dispute. However, he returned to practice this week and will now make his Big Apple debut against their division rival, New England Patriots. Reddick has tallied double-digit sacks in each of his past four seasons with a high of 16 in 2022. Reddick will bring a significant boost to the Jets pass rush and makes their unit a top option this week facing a weak New England offense.

Haason Reddick Could Play In Week 8
New York Jets defensive end/outside linebacker Haason Reddick is on the practice field on Wednesday for the first time since being traded from the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason. The 30-year-old reported to the team's facility on Monday and is beginning preparation for the Week 8 game against the New England Patriots. There's no official word on whether or not Reddick will suit up on Sunday, but all signs are pointing toward him making his team debut. Reddick has posted at least 11 sacks in each of his last four seasons, and he played for the Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers, and Eagles during that stretch. When at full strength, he'll provide a boost to a strong front seven that already ranks eighth in defensive sacks per game (8.0).

Jets Unsure If Haason Reddick Will Play In Week 8
New York Jets interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich said on Monday that it's too early to say if All-Pro pass-rusher Haason Reddick will make his team debut this Sunday in a Week 8 contest against the division-rival New England Patriots. Reddick came off the Did Not Report list on Monday after he and the team finally agreed to an adjusted contract over the weekend after the 30-year-old held out for the first seven weeks of the season. He's expected to play this weekend against the Patriots, but it's not official yet, and even if Reddick does return, he'll most likely be on some sort of a limited snap count in his first game with the team. Regardless, a banged-up Jets defense that just allowed 37 points to the Steelers in a loss on Sunday night will receive a boost with the addition of Reddick, who has had double-digit sacks in each of the last four years.

Haason Reddick Officially Joins Jets
Per Adam Schefter, New York Jets defensive end Haason Reddick is present at the team's facility on Monday with his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. Reddick has officially begun preparing for Sunday's divisional matchup against the New England Patriots in Week 8. After months of back-and-forth, the 30-year-old pass-rushing specialist will presumably be active against the Patriots and should be a big boost for New York's defensive unit when he takes the field. The Jets have done a decent job getting after the quarterback in 2024 -- recording the fifth-most sacks in the league (21) through a nearly complete Week 7 -- and the journeyman edge-rusher stands to make them a more formidable unit in that regard. Reddick has recorded double-digit sacks in four straight seasons. While it is not yet confirmed, the plan appears to be for him to play in the road matchup.

Haason Reddick Agrees To Deal With Jets, Ends Holdout
New York Jets pass-rusher Haason Reddick has agreed to an adjusted contract with the team, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Reddick will report to the team on Monday morning and presumably has a strong chance to play in Week 8 against the New England Patriots. Terms of his new deal weren't immediately reported, but it's expected to be a short-term deal that allows Reddick and the Jets to discuss a long-term deal later on. Reddick had double-digit sacks in each of his last four seasons, so his return is great news for the Jets as they look to turn their season around and mount a playoff run.

Haason Reddick Granted Permission To Seek Trade
New York Jets edge rusher Haason Reddick has been granted permission to seek a trade for a short window, according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic. Reddick was acquired by the Jets in the offseason but has been in the midst of a contract holdout through the entire season. Earlier this week, Reddick hired new agents, Drew Rosenhaus and Ryan Matha, to continue to work out a contract extension with the Jets. However, it looks like the Jets have given Reddick an opportunity to look for a trade partner as contract talks have continued to be at a standstill. The 30-year-old enjoyed two successful seasons in Philadelphia, as he tallied double-digit sacks in each campaign with six total forced fumbles.

Haason Reddick Hires New Agents
New York Jets edge rusher Haason Reddick, who has held out all season to this point for a new long-term contract extension, has hired Drew Rosenhaus and Ryan Matha as his new agents. Rosenhaus and Matha have already spoken to the Jets and are in attendance for the Monday night game to close out Week 6 against the division-rival Buffalo Bills. "We look forward to working with the Jets to get this resolved as soon as possible," Rosenhaus said. "Haason would like to be a New York Jet for years to come and our goal is to make that happen." The 30-year-old requested a trade on Aug. 12, and the Jets said they had no intentions of trading him. Since then, the stalemate has continued, and Reddick has forfeited around $4.7 million in game checks while accruing another $5 million in NFL-mandated fines. Reddick has 50.5 sacks over the previous four seasons and would make an already strong Jets defense that much stronger, but it remains to be seen if he'll ever play a snap in New York.

Haason Reddick Turned Down Lucrative One-Year Deal
New York Jets pass rusher Haason Reddick, who continues to hold out amidst demands for a new contract, reportedly had an offer on the table for a lucrative one-year deal "that would have given him the opportunity to make up for the fines and make more money than he was originally scheduled to earn," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The deal, proposed early during the regular season, was "all but worked out" between the Jets and Reddick's agents at CAA, but the veteran defender declined to sign the contract. This appeared to be the final straw for both the team and the agency. The Jets have since been very public about their stance, essentially saying that the ball is in Reddick's court and he can come back whenever he's ready. Meanwhile, CAA parted with Reddick as a client this past week, seemingly frustrated by his resistance to a new deal and his willingness to rack up fines from missing games. At this point, there is real doubt about the likelihood that Reddick, who wants a multi-year deal that would make him one of the higher-paid pass rushers in the NFL, returns to the football field this season. As Rapoport notes, if he holds out beyond Week 13, he would not accrue a season, his 2024 contract terms would roll over to 2025, and we could see this entire saga repeat itself next year.

Haason Reddick Parts Ways With His Agency
CAA has parted ways with New York Jets pass-rusher Haason Reddick as he continues his season-long contract holdout, according to sources. After the Jets acquired Reddick from the Philadelphia Eagles in the offseason, he has not shown up to the team's facilities at all during training camp or through the first five weeks of the regular season as he seeks a new long-term contract. He continues to collect millions of dollars in fines with no end in sight for his holdout. At this point, the best-case scenario for the Jets and the 30-year-old All-Pro defensive end would be a trade before the deadline in early November. Obviously, Reddick isn't an option at all in IDP fantasy formats, but that could change if he's traded at some point. Despite Reddick's lengthy holdout, the Jets' defensive unit remains a strong fantasy option. They currently rank as the No. 11 fantasy defense in overall points.
