Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings placed cornerback Harrison Hand on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday. Hand has now been on the COVID list for the second time this season, and he'll need two negative tests in order to have a chance to play in Week 5 against the division-rival Detroit Lions. The 22-year-old was a fifth-round pick last year and had only 17 tackles (14 solo), one interception and three passes defensed in 14 games (one start). So far in two games in 2021, Hand has three solo tackles. The Vikings defense/special teams currently ranks 10th in overall fantasy points through four games, and they have an enticing matchup against the winless Lions, making them a streaming option for fantasy managers in Week 5.

Harrison Hand Heads To Reserve/COVID-19 List
Minnesota Vikings cornerback Harrison Hand was placed on the league's reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday. It is unknown whether Hand himself tested positive for the virus or was deemed a close contact. Vaccinated players can return after testing negative for the virus twice over a 24-hour span while unvaccinated players who test positive must sit out 10 days minimum. Hand made one tackle in Week 1 and did not play due to a hamstring injury in Week 2.

Vikings Take Corner Harrison Hand
With the 169th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings took their third cornerback of the draft in Temples Harrison Hand. Hand is a good run defender who lacks elite speed, but its hard to see him having a role aside from special teams just based on the numbers. The Vikings did lose a lot from the secondary this offseason, though, so Hand will have a chance to earn a role defensively, though Jeff Gladney and Cameron Dantzler will start camp ahead of him.
