Browns Sign Jackson Barton on Monday
The Cleveland Browns announced on Monday that they signed offensive tackle Jackson Barton to an undisclosed deal and waived center Justin Osborne with an injury designation in a corresponding move. Barton suffered an ankle injury last year and ended the 2024 season with the Arizona Cardinals on Injured Reserve, but he's recovered now and will be attempting to win a roster spot in Cleveland this summer. The 29-year-old was a former seventh-round pick (240th overall) by the Indianapolis Colts in 2019 out of Utah. He broke into the NFL in 2021 with the Las Vegas Raiders and spent two years with the team before playing in Arizona the last two seasons. Barton has only started two of the 13 games he's appeared in over his four years in the NFL.
