Bengals Release Jackson Carman, Ending Disappointing Tenure
The Cincinnati Bengals have begun their roster cuts, releasing 11 players, including offensive tackle Jackson Carman -- a second-round pick from 2021. The Bengals selected Clemson offensive tackle Jackson Carman with the 46th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft on Friday evening. Touted as one of the biggest and most athletic linemen in the draft, the Ohio native should make a difference in improving arguably the worst offensive protection unit in the league. Carman has a legit chance to start at the beginning of the season and can help open things up for Joe Mixon and add some much-need protection for franchise signal-caller Joe Burrow.
