The Baltimore Ravens parted ways with linebacker Jake Ryan on Thursday just a little over a month after signing him as a free agent. Ryan was released with a non-football injury designation after signing a one-year deal with the team back on April 18. The release of the veteran indicates how confident the Ravens are with rookie linebackers Patrick Queen and Malik Harrison. Ryan spent most of his career with the Green Bay Packers but hasn't played in a game since 2017, mostly due to an ACL tear in 2018. Both Queen and Harrison are expected to play major roles as rookies, with head coach John Harbaugh stating, "We expect them to play a lot of football this year. We're really fired up about those two guys." Both rookies are of interest in deeper IDP leagues, especially Queen.
