Jakeem Grant Hauls In Four Receptions

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jakeem Grant Sr. was able to post his best game of the season during the Week 6 victory over the New York Jets. Grant finished with a season-high four receptions on four targets for 48 yards in the victory. He hasn't held much fantasy value throughout the season, but put together a decent game here. Sadly, Grant won't be trustworthy in fantasy leagues with the Dolphins offense fairly healthy. He might be a desperation option in deep leagues versus the Los Angeles Rams in Week 8.

Jakeem Grant Put On Injured Reserve

The Miami Dolphins placed wide receiver/kick returner Jakeem Grant (ankle) on the Injured Reserve on Wednesday, ending his season. Grant was carted to the locker room after injuring his ankle in the Week 12 loss to the Browns. Head coach Brian Flores said that wide receiver Isaiah Ford will be brought up from the practice squad to replace Grant on the active roster. Grant caught just 10 passes for 164 yards in 10 games this season and served as the team's primary kickoff returner, averaging 25.1 yards per return. He obviously wasn't on the fantasy radar to begin with.

Jakeem Grant, Xavien Howard Questionable

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jakeem Grant (hamstring) and cornerback Xavien Howard (knee) were limited in practice this week and are questionable for Week 7 against the Bills. Even if Grant plays this weekend, he's nowhere close to being fantasy relevant behind Devante Parker, Preston Williams and Albert Wilson on the depth chart. Grant has only nine catches (19 targets) for 52 scoreless yards in four games this year. Howard is the team's best cornerback, but the Dolphins Defense/special teams is also well off the fantasy radar. If Howard sits, it'll be good news for Bills wideout John Brown.
