Joshua Kelley News
Los Angeles Chargers running back Joshua Kelley recorded 33 yards on 10 carries in a Week 14 victory against the New York Giants. Kelley saw additional action with starting running back Austin Ekeler (ankle) exiting the contest early. The Chargers have a quick turnaround with a Week 15 matchup versus the Kansas City Chiefs and it's possible that Ekeler could sit out that contest. If Ekeler were to sit out on Thursday, Kelley and veteran Justin Jackson would likely split carries. Kelley is more likely to see early down snaps with Jackson as the third-down back and receiving back. In non-ppr leagues, Kelley provides more value and in ppr leagues managers should look towards Jackson. More should be known on the status of Ekeler prior to Thursday, but managers who roster Ekeler should consider insuring him with both Kelley and Jackson.
Los Angeles Chargers running back Joshua Kelley is inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Steelers with Justin Jackson (quadriceps) back in the lineup. Kelley will get the night off as a healthy scratch. Nonetheless, it's unlikely many fantasy managers were depending on him for production, and even if he were playing, Austin Ekeler would receive most of the looks out of the backfield anyway. Jackson will return after missing the last two games and will be sharing change-of-pace duties with rookie Larry Rountree III.
Los Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler (hip) is active for Sunday's contest against the Patriots, while Joshua Kelley is a healthy scratch. With Ekeler active for the Chargers on the real football field, he should be active for fantasy managers in all formats because of his immense upside. Consider him a high-end RB1 as a top-five fantasy running back through the first seven weeks of action. Justin Jackson and rookie Larry Rountree III will back up Ekeler on Sunday with Kelley being a healthy scratch.

Los Angeles Chargers running back Joshua Kelley came into his rookie season with fantasy hype, but failed to live up to it. Last season, he rushed for just 354 yards and two touchdowns on 111 carries. In the passing game, he caught all 23 of his...
