Keelan Cole News
Free-agent wide receiver Keelan Cole agreed to a one-year deal with the Raiders. Cole began his career with the Jaguars, where he spent four seasons before most recently suiting up for the New York Jets during the 2021-22 campaign. The 29-year-old hasn't been a reliable fantasy producer, racking up only 187 catches for 2,691 yards and 13 touchdowns throughout his five years of service. Things aren't anticipated to change in Las Vegas, as he will need to battle with guys like Davante Adams, Hunter Renfrow, and Darren Waller for targets. However, Cole may gain some interest from managers as a streaming option if an injury occurs somewhere in the receiving corps during the season.
New York Jets wide receiver Keelan Cole became the team's de facto No. 1 option in the passing game after injuries decimated the unit during Sunday's defeat to the Bills. Cole hauled in his first touchdown of the season, finishing with three catches for 54 yards against a stout Buffalo secondary. Cole had not accrued three grabs in a single outing since Week 9, with Zach Wilson being down the vast majority (Jamison Crowder, Corey Davis, Braxton Berrios, Elijah Moore) of his passing game targets. There are many questions to be answered for the Jets' offense come 2022, with Cole -- who is set to become a free agent -- being one of them. The 28-year-old finished the year with 28 receptions for 349 yards and one score, vastly below the production he delivered during his final season in Jacksonville.
New York Jets wide receiver Keelan Cole has seen increased involvement lately in the offense. The Jets are without their top three receiving options, so they've asked Cole and a few others to step up. Although, Cole has struggled to make an impact on the field this season. In Week 17, he hauled in two of his five targets for 35 yards in the loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It was the most targets Cole has seen since Week 14. The Jets seem to want to get Cole involved, but he won't be a reliable fantasy option. He's unlikely to be on the fantasy radar for the Week 18 matchup against the Buffalo Bills.
