Jaguars Re-Sign Keelan Cole

The Jacksonville Jaguars have agreed to a one-year deal with restricted free-agent wide receiver Keelan Cole, keeping the 27-year-old wideout in a Jags uniform. Cole has appeared in all 16 games for the Jaguars in each of the past three seasons, but he has seen his overall targets, receptions and yards fall off in each of those seasons. At best, Cole appears to be heading into 2020 as the fourth receiver on the team behind D.J. Chark Jr., Dede Westbrookand Chris Conley, and that's assuming Jacksonville doesn't add a receiver in the draft. Cole can step in and perform if there are injury issues ahead of him, but for now he should mostly be off your fantasy radar.

Jaguars Put Second-Round Tender On Keelan Cole

The Jacksonville Jaguars placed the second-round tender on restricted free-agent wide receiver Keelan Cole, according to a source. Cole has 104 career catches for 1,600 yards and seven touchdowns in his three seasons with the team. The soon-to-be 27-year-old from Kentucky Wesleyan had a career-low 24 catches for 361 yards and three touchdowns last season. He has little chance of being fantasy relevant if he stays behind Dede Westbrook, Marqise Lee, D.J. Chark and Chris Conley on Jacksonville's receiving depth chart.

Keelan Cole Ends 2019 With Touchdown

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Keelan Cole caught three passes for 67 yards and a touchdown in his team's Week 17 win over the Indianapolis Colts. Cole had a few strong games in the second half of the season, but he saw a huge drop in targets this season and doesn't appear to have a future with the Jags. It's possible Cole could end up as a fantasy sleeper on another team, but his path towards consistent snaps somewhere in 2020 might be a tough one.
