Marvin Jones Jr. News

Marvin Jones Jr. Posts 80 Receiving Yards

Detroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr. caught five passes for 80 yards in the Lions 23-22 win over the Falcons in Week 7. It has been a brutal season for the veteran but enjoyed his most active performance of the season. Jones made the most of his six targets and added a nice 23-yard reception in the game. This should not have fantasy teams racing to the waiver wire to pick up Jones but this is a positive development for a player who, in the past, has had fringe FLEX status at times the past few seasons.

Marvin Jones Jr. Will Try And Jump Start Season In Week 6

Detroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr. will try and snap out of his season-long slump in Week 6 against the Jaguars. The veteran has only 12 receptions on the season and really has faded from the Lions offensive game plan the past few weeks. Jones will go up against a Jaguars Defense that is allowing the 13th most fantasy points to opposing receivers this season. They have surrendered five touchdowns to the position as the Lions will try and exploit their secondary in what could become a high-scoring game. Jones, however, will be a major fantasy risk in Week 6 and needs to remain on the bench until he shows more signs of life.

Marvin Jones Jr. Has WR5/6 Value In Week 4

Detroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr. will try and produce in Week 4 against the Saints. The veteran will play second fiddle to star receiver Kenny Golladay in the passing game. The Saints Defense has been brutal this season and has already allowed five touchdowns to receivers through the first three games. Jones Jr. is averaging only 43 yards per game in the early portion of the season and should not be considered higher than a WR5 in Week 4.
