Titans Go With Monty Rice Late In Third Round
The Tennessee Titans selected Georgia linebacker Monty Rice with the No. 92 overall pick in the third round of the 2021 NFL draft on Friday night. Rice has great instincts at the position and plenty of technique and durability to make a name for himself in the NFL. In nine games in his senior season for the Bulldogs, Rice had 49 tackles (four for loss) and two forced fumbles. He's athletic enough to become a starter pretty early on in his rookie season and takes charge of a defense. Rice is faster than he is quick at 6-foot-1, 235 pounds. He's also a reliable tackler and can cover tight ends down the seams.
