The Jacksonville Jaguars placed wide receiver/punt returner Jaydon Mickens (ankle) on Injured Reserve on Monday and re-signed wideout Rashad Greene to the active roster in a corresponding move. Mickens fractured his left ankle in the team's Week 6 loss to the Cowboys. Greene will simply provide depth behind wideouts Keelan Cole, Dede Westbrook, Donte Moncrief and rookie DJ Chark. He can be avoided in fantasy.
The Jacksonville Jaguars placed wide receiver Rashad Greene on Injured Reserve with an undisclosed injury Saturday. Greene has been injured or ineffective in his two years with the Jags, and he caught just five passes for 32 yards in eight games in 2016. The soon-to-be 25-year-old has played 17 combined games in his two years in the NFL. Allen Hurns, Arrelious Benn and rookie Dede Westbrook will fight for playing time as the team's No. 3 receiver behind Allen Robinson and Marqise Lee. Westbrook is the most intriguing of the lot, but really only for those in dynasty leagues.
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Rashad Greene is on the bubble to make the roster in training camp after the team drafted Dede Westbrook and re-signed Arrelious Benn and Bryan Walters. Westbrook and Greene both play the slot positions. Greene has struggled with injuries, fumbles and yards after the catch and has just 24 career catches for 125 yards in 17 games in his first two seasons. Needless to say, Greene won't be on anyone's radar this fall.
