The Indianapolis Colts signed former Los Angeles Chargers left tackle Sam Tevi to an undisclosed deal, according to a source. Tevi allowed just two sacks in 1,024 offensive snaps played last year for the Bolts, according to Pro Football Focus. The former sixth-round pick in 2017 has started a minimum of 14 games in each of the last four seasons with the Chargers. One of the Colts' biggest weaknesses in 2020 was their depth at both tackle positions, so Tevi should be an upgrade on quarterback Carson Wentz's blind side. Chaz Green, Will Holden and Le'Raven Clark all saw playing time after Anthony Castonzo and Braden Smith suffered season-ending injuries. At the very least, Tevi will be a quality swing tackle that can fill in on the left side.
